This book is one of the best time travel books I’ve read. The whole concept is odd and somewhat plausible if you think about it. Furthermore, it’s a great book about New York at the turn of last century. It sent me on a New York history kick. Funny how a single book can send you on a new line of thought: I’ve been reading tons of stuff on late 19th century, even going to the New York Public Library, a beautiful building in itself, to pull out some of the newspapers from that byggone era. If you only read one book this year, I’d reccomend you read this one!
