For those of you actually using the site instead of reading this via a newsreader, I would like to announce that the site now has a new search capability. Among some of the changes in that new package are
- ditched the Google search to implement my own: This increases the flexibility in terms of presentation and allows me to provide more metadata
- Modified Search algorithm to better group pages: This is largely based on the organization of the site, something that Google does not seem to recognize
- Ability to subscribe to a search via RSS, which means another part of the site is now syndicated!
I plan to continue improving that section of the site to give users more flexibility but thought you would enjoy it.
