UADB is Live!

August 6, 2005

One of the things web developers keep going back to is trying to track user agents. However, many of the databases out there in the world seem to not have been updated for a while. As a result, it’s difficult to find what a developer needs. Finding a problem that needed fixing, I’ve taking it upon myself to start tracking user agent visits on my personal site and build a proper database of them. The first output from this is the UADB, a new database of known user agents on TNL.net along with more details on the identified ones. If you’re a programmer, give it a whirl. I will be building more features into it soon but feel I now have enough of a base to build on that I can make it public. Enjoy!
