Scripting News: An idea for Newassignment?

How about scouring the USA Patriot for submerged timebombs like the provision that no one knew about that meant that US Attorneys didn’t need to be reviewed by Congress. What other bugs are lurking in laws passed by the Republican Congress in the last 6 years?

Going further would be looking at all major pieces of legislation and their hidden provisions. It’s the kind of crowdsourcing effort that could go very far in unearthing some pretty scarry things.
