Came up with initial idea of merging games and engagement into a new model for advertising, leading to the creation of the leader in user-generated social games. Our platform allowed users and brands to create highly engaging mobile games based on social data available over the internet.
As the founder and CEO, I managed all the business side of our company. Tasks included recruiting, product management, sales, marketing, HR, accounting, fundraising, strategic partnerships, project management, and offshore management.
Global Head, Internet and Mobile Innovation, Deutsche Bank (2008-2011)
Developed product strategies for next-generation internet banking products in the global transaction banking division. In this capacity, I oversaw the integration of multiple product offerings across our cash management, trade finance, and custody services groups into a single, cohesive platform, presenting a unified treasury banking solution to external and internal parties.
Managed cross-functional team of 23 people in product management, project management, and product development to roll out efforts globally. Selected and managed outsourced IT partners to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of multiple cross-departmental product lines.
Chief Innovation Officer, HSBC.com (2001-2007)
Created, launched, and operated global banking-related technology products and product initiatives.
Created and managed the development and operations of hundreds of internal and external facing websites and applications globally, with core 60-persons team in the US, UK, Hong Kong, Brazil and India. Held P&L responsibility for global service division supporting internal and external customers across 78 countries and three major business lines (retail banking, business banking, and corporate & institutional banking).

Founder and CEO, Moveable Media (2000-2001)
Founded and managed this strategic consulting company that grew to 40 employees before being sold. Significant clients included Coca-Cola, Microsoft, AOL Time-Warner, and Nokia.
As the founder and CEO, I managed all the business side of our company. Tasks included recruiting, product management, methodology, sales, marketing, HR, accounting, fundraising, and strategic partnerships.
Senior advisor to the CEO (consulting), Boo.com (1999-2000)
Lent my Internet expertise to this new startup, working as interim CTO and back-end architect for the company.
During my tenure there, Boo fixed its back-end system, managed to launch a site that seemed unlaunchable within 10 weeks of my arrival due to strong project management. However, I was not able to convince the CEO that the front end needed to be redone.
I was also instrumental in hiring a new CTO for the company and working on general technology strategy.

Suggested to the owner of Internet World that the company should launch a new online business unit. As a result, I was promoted into this role and founded internet.com
